Louisiana Propane Dealers’ Impact at the 2025 Energy Independence Summit

The Louisiana Propane Dealers attended the 2025 Energy Independence Summit in Washington, D.C., where energy leaders from across the U.S. gathered to discuss clean fuels and energy independence with their congressional representatives.

As part of the Louisiana Clean Fuels Coalition, we were excited to engage with staff from our delegation, including Senator Bill Cassidy, Senator John Kennedy, and Speaker Mike Johnson. The Coalition advances environmental, economic, and energy security by supporting efforts to diversify transportation fuels, including promoting domestic fuels like propane.

The event was a tremendous success, with 167 meetings held with Members of Congress and their staff during Hill Day—an impressive display of the collective power of our Clean Cities & Communities coalitions, industry partners, and stakeholders.

Efforts like the 2025 Energy Independence Summit are shaping the future. By bringing together regional and state representatives, we’re fostering new conversations that can drive change in our nation’s fueling practices. Louisiana’s voice plays a critical role in this movement, and we will continue to advocate for energy independence through events like this summit and Louisiana Clean Fuels’ ongoing efforts.

Thank you to both organizations for including the Louisiana Propane Dealers and providing the opportunity to engage with key decision-makers. We remain committed to advocating for energy independence and encouraging continued support for clean energy initiatives!
